Relationship Manager

Responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing client investment portfolios by providing tailored financial solutions aligned with clients’ goals. The Relationship Manager drives business growth through proactive sales efforts, market development initiatives, and relationship-building activities. This includes conducting client calls, regular fieldwork, and financial literacy sessions to increase visibility and client engagement. The role also entails continuous portfolio management, market monitoring, and the strategic positioning of pooled fund instruments. In addition, the Relationship Manager plays a key role in business development by leading investment-related events, collaborating with key stakeholders, and creating sales and presentation materials to support investment education and acquisition strategies.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts regular client calls for both selling and client servicing.
  • In charge of acquisition of new accounts.
  • Conducts regular fieldwork for market saturation.
  • Drive profitability by maintaining a healthy balance and fee-based offerings (e.g., investments, life, and non-life insurance)
  • Expand the customer base through new client acquisition
  • Maintain strong controls throughout the account opening process
  • Manages, maintains, and post-sales service of existing accounts.
  • Monitors the market trends and outlook to better position the funds of his/her clients using different asset classes.
  • Identifies and maximizes the different pooled fund instruments aligned with the financial objectives of their clients.
  • Engage and build strong client relationships to increase wallet share while managing fund attrition rates.
  • Provide exceptional client experiences at every stage of interaction
  • Prepare and submit all reports accurately and on time
  • Respond promptly to stakeholders’ needs and inquiries
  • Spearheads activities that could ramp up inflow of investments including but not limited to, road shows, participation in marketing campaigns, participation in pod casts amongst other things
  • Develops new markets and identifies organizations to saturate.
  • Develops modules and presentations for selling and presentation activities.
  • Engages with key stakeholders in corporate accounts.
  • Conducts financial literacy sessions for education, awareness, and visibility.

  • Capable of initiating and executing marketing campaigns, events, and partnership opportunities to generate inflows
  • Familiar with industry regulations and ensures all client interactions and investment recommendations comply with applicable standards

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

    Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, banking, or bancassurance

  • UITF certification exam, CISOL licensure exam
